I created this Pom Pom Christmas Tree printable activity for my kids, and we had so much fun with it! The only complaint from them was that it was “too early” for Christmas stuff ?
The printable is free to download so you can have fun decorating some pom pom Christmas trees with your kids too!
This activity was very messy (especially for my 5 year old) but I much prefer my kids decorate this pretend Christmas tree over the real thing. I’m super OCD! I do let them help but I HAVE TO rearrange the ornaments once they fall asleep. I usually blame it on the Elf on the Shelf, though. That naughty little elf is always up to stuff!
The printable has a line for the child’s name to go on the top of the page and a line at the bottom that reads “All I want for Christmas is”, which they can fill in with the one special thing they want the most this year. I thought it would make the activity a little more personal and meaningful for the kids.
Okay, to get started on this holiday activity you’ll need a few supplies…
- The Christmas Tree Printable (click on the download button below)
- Pom Poms (various sizes) – You can find these at the Dollar Store, I got mine from the Dollar Tree. You can also grab them online, here.
- Washable School Glue (Elmer’s or Cra-Z-Art is what I use)
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Craft Glitter (for the star on top of the tree) – You can find this at the Dollar Tree too.
Now that you have all of the things you need, you can sit the kids down to have fun, fun, fun! Have the vacuum cleaner ready, though, the glitter is going to get EVERYWHERE (sorry)!
To grab your free printable activity page, click on the download button below. The page size is 8.5 x 11 so it will fill a regular letter size paper. Print as many as you want and don’t forget to share ?
